Description
Currently, by default a newly created object is untiled. This can lead to unwieldy tile sizes. Rather new objects should have a tiling that is practically useful (tile sizes around a few MB).

I've changed it to aligned tiling, but it only works for 2D, probably because of the tiling conf which is a 2D minterval. Created new ticket to fix this: #301
