Description
In particular this is necessary for PostgreSQL when using non-ident authentication, as the ECPG connection string doesn't contain the user/pass.

I detected an issue while testing with a remote server related to the native libpq connection, I've fixed it and going to submit a patch (tested both with local and remote servers).
