auto-generated Makefiles not up-to date

Description

The Makefile does not reflect the state as generated with automake. Hence, it leads to compile errors.
The Makefiles autogenerated from the current source should be uploaded to the repo.

Workaround:

autoreconf
automake

As the Makefile is not upto-date, it is giving compile errors. Can you help me with how to proceed further.

fixed by new configure script.
