WCST_Import validation takes long time with multiple files

Dimitar has 30 netcdf files and it takes 1 minutes to validate all the files before ingesting, need to know why it takes so long time.
Also it's not clear how long approximately will the validation take, or what exactly is it validating, so intermittent message from the validation process would be very useful.
