unit tests for tiling
create unit tests for the various tiling methods:
Regular (create a class with a method to output the logical tiles)
Aligned (class exists, create tests for existing methods)
Directional (class exists, create tests for existing methods)
Interest (class exists, create tests for existing methods)
Statistical (class exists, create tests for existing methods)
ensure these methods are returning the logical tiles.
