Description
in the "packages required" wiki page grpc is listed as optional, but configuration fails without grpc being installed.

rasnet is optional at the moment (only works with —enable-rasnet), this is why grpc is optional as well; you should follow the rasnet guide to install the dependencies.

Did it fail for you?
The configure script failed execution while building RPMs for CentOS 6 (but not CentOS 7) and I just submitted a patch that fixes that. The grpc are optional as part of rasnet, just somehow the configure script was badly generated on CentOS 6.
