The interpolation parameter allows choosing a specific resampling (interpolation) method. It can be used in the GetMap operation. By default now it's nearest neighbour (as in gdalwarp).
The new project()` variants support specifying the resampling algorithm: http://doc.rasdaman.org/04_ql-guide.html#the-project-function
